Prayer

Dearest Mother,

It seems that each day, in so many ways, great and small, we fail. My prayer this evening rises to Thee with fervour and sincerity. All the lies, doubts, fears, anger, etc. that are within me, all that enters me through my weaknesses; give me, O Mother, the Power to dissolve. Help my aspiration to grow, help me to think of Thee at all times, in all my daily tasks. Let my voice rise in songs of praise to Thee.

Grant of Divine Master, that I may succeed in the Yoga, that the evils, the distractions, the adverse forces constantly around us, may be to me vast opportunities for progress along the path. I ask again, Lord, Sri Aurobindo, that Thou give me the strength to realize my purpose in life.

Blessed Mother give me the power to face all things with Peace and Serenity, to accept all challenges and all tests with Inner Calm established in Thy Light, and offer all I am or ever shall be, to Thee.
